Please note that participation in the study is only possible if the genetic testing is done at UC Davis laboratory!
If you have had your cat(s) already tested on PK deficiency at another laboratory (or will have your cat(s) tested at another laboratory), you can’t participate in the study. But if you want to generate publicly transparency about affected / free lines, then you can send the genetic test results both to the IG Heart Healthy Cat eV as also to the database health.mcats.de and / or pawpeds.com. Please send a copy of the testing result, together with some short notice (e. g. “Please publish my cat(s)’ test results at the IG HGK’s database”) by postal service to:

The test result, the name of your cat and the names of your cat's parents will be published in the database of IG Heart Healthy Cat eV.
If you wish to, IG HGK e. V. can pass the test result of your cat for additional publication to mcats.de database and / or pawpeds.com, too.
